Company Overview

Mesbon was founded in 2002 by Managing Director, Mr Zhehao Shen, a civil engineer with 20 years experience in textile manufacturing.  Mr Shen anticipated the emergence of nylon yarn, especially high quality nylon textile yarn, as a fundamental product for use by the China textile and apparel industries. 

Mesbon's objective is to grow into a world-class manufacturer of premium nylon textile yarn and to develop a brand synonymous with quality and excellence.

Mesbon's production capabilities have grown from 20,000 tonnes per annum in 2004, to 33,000 tonnes currently.  Following completion of Mesbon's production facility expansion in or around April next year, the Company expects production capacity to increase to approximately 45,000 tonnes per annum.

Domestic & International Markets

Mesbon currently sells nylon textile yarn throughout China in provinces such as Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangsu and Guangdong and exports to countries around the world including Thailand, Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Italy, Ecuador, Israel, Pakistan and Algeria.

Until June 2006, Mesbon was solely focused on domestic markets but has since taken the opportunity to increase its international market share so that for the first half of Financial Year 2007, its international sales amounted to 26% of its total sales.

Production Facility

Mesbon's production facility of 28,733 square metres and approximately 300 employees, is ideally located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, within the heart of the textile manufacturing base in East China. 

The Company is planning to expand its production facility through implementing Phase 3 and Phase 4 of its overall production expansion plan.

After completion of Phase 3, the Company's new facilities, which are expected to be operational in or about April 2008, will be used primarily for the production of premium nylon textile yarn including nylon 6 FDY.

As a result of that commitment, Mesbon is certified with the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System certification. 

Responsible Production

Mesbon is also certified with ISO14001:2004 Environment Management System certification which reflects the Company's commitment to the minimisation of harmful effects on the environment that its activities may cause, and to continuously improve its environmental performance. 

Mesbon believes its focus on quality and the environment enables it to produce high quality nylon at a competitive price whilst minimising any negative impact on the environment.

Commitment to Research and Development

Mesbon is focused on research and development in order to continually provide quality and improve the value of its products, to meet the changing needs of its customers in the domestic and international markets.

Mesbon has an in-house research and development team consisting of 16 members including engineers and technicians, representing various disciplines within the Company including production design, quality assurance and marketing. The Company also collaborates with Chinese research institutions.
